The Saber Toothed Cat is a LIFE SIZE offering from the authentic animal creation collection of AFD Home. It is an investment in quality and hand craftmanship that will be appreciated and spur the imagination of young and old for generations to come. It is hand crafted by artists in an all weather fiberglass materials, the finishing is also beautifully executed and the finishing touch that brings this prehistoric re-creation to life. A saber-toothed cat (alternatively spelled saber-toothed Cat or Tiger ) is a member of an extinct groups of predatory mammals that were characterized by long, curved saber-shaped canine teeth. The large maxillary canine teeth extended from the mouth even when it was closed. The saber-toothed cats were found worldwide from the Eocene epoch to the end of the Pleistocene epoch (42 million years ago (may) – 11, 000 years ago), existing for about 42 million years. Note* Outdoor use may require ongoing maintenance depending on the circumstances.
